Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds Is Heading Towards Full Release On 4 September 2018
Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds or PUBG as it is commonly called will be leaving Xbox Game Preview and be fully released physically and digitally on 4 September 2018. On that day current owners will get a free major update with final bug fixes and performance improvements as well as the new Sanhok map and War mode where large groups of players in teams fight it out and it is different to the Battle Royale Mode in that players will respawn as it is less about kills and more about completing team objectives.
The game will also be getting dynamic weather in the update and Xbox also revealed a special edition controller to celebrate the game’s launch (pictured). Achievements will be added and they said current owners will see any they have already earned unlock as they carry over from the Game Preview version.
