Rumbling Games is a new independent development studio located in Egypt and has announced their new project Knight Of Light, a third person action role playing game set in Medieval Iraq. The game will feature real historic battles and events revolving around the conflict between the Sassanian empire and the Arab forces.
The video below is very early pre-alpha gameplay but already looks very impressive and the setting is very interesting. No release date is given but they claim it will offer a AAA gaming experience at an average price which I assume means they are aiming for a price point similar to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice at around £24.99-£29.99.
The developers claim the game will offer 60 hours of gameplay and feature a main character and several side characters drawing heavily for inspiration from the Witcher series by CD Projekt Red. Rumbling Games are a Sony publisher but they have said the game will release on Xbox One & PC as well, maybe some timed exclusivity is in place I would assume.
Sounds an interesting and impressive looking game from this early video so I will keep my eye on it as the game develops and keep you posted here on Stoffel Presents.
