PES 2019 Available for Free on PSN

Earlier this month I reported that Sony switched out PES 2019 for Detriot: Become Human in PS Plus games for June at the last minute without any explanation. Well, it turns out that might not have actually been the case…in Europe anyway.

Stoffel Presents discovered earlier today that you can in fact still get PES 2019 for free and here is how

Simply search for PES 2019 in the PSN store and you will see the standard edition listed as a free PS PLUS Member Bonus.

In the description, you will see that it says to redeem the member bonus in the MYCLUB mode of PES 2019 Lite.

Don’t worry though, PES 2019 Lite is the free version of PS 2019 on PSN. So simply search for it in the store and download for free. Then once installed go to my club, redeem your PES 2019 PSPlus member bonus and Viola! You now have the complete standard edition of PES 2019 for free.

We have no idea why this is the case as we only discovered this whilst accidentally browsing the store earlier today. We have reached out to Sony for a comment and will update this article if and when we get a reply.
