CD Projekt Red have announced today release dates for Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales & Gwent: The Witcher Card Game.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is a brand new adventure game set in the world of The Witcher, CD Projekt Red’s award winning action role playing game series.  It is a single player role playing experience that combines narrative driven exploration with unique puzzles and card battle mechanics. The game tells the tale of Meve, a war-veteran queen of two Northern Realms — Lyria and Rivia.  The Nilfgaardians invade his land and Meve is set on a dark journey of destruction and revenge against them.

Players will get to explore  new parts of The Witcher’s world, embarking on epic quests featuring great multi-dimensional characters the series is known for.  They have to gather resources and build their army to fight in epic card battles in Gwent, the card game from The Witcher series, using Gwent’s skill-based battle system.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales will release for the PC first on gog.com on 23 October 2018 with a console release for Xbox One and PS4 to follow on 4 December 2018.  Pricing information has not been announced at the time of writing.
