Wargaming has announced today that World of Warships and World of Warships: Legends have joined forces with Games Workshop for the first time to bring the dark atmosphere of the far future to the popular naval battle series.
The update will include new content, including commanders, camouflage and skins of ships with motifs taken from the popular Warhammer 40,000 universe.
The two largest factions of the Warhammer 40,000 galaxy, Empire and Chaos, will be represented by unique, terror-fearing ships controlled by fearless commanders: Justinian Lyons XIII and Arthas Roqthar “Mroźny”.

“We are very happy to work with such a cult brand, loved by dedicated fans – including those from our ranks,” said Philip Molodkovets, executive producer at World of Warships. “The gothic, dark atmosphere of the world Warhammer 40,000 gives the realistic universe of World of Warships a sharp, expressive character. Thanks to this cooperation is even more interesting.
Presale including flags and patches will start on May 27. After purchasing the pre-sale kit, players will receive a special bonus in the form of a mission during which Warhammer 40,000 containers containing commanders, camouflages and ships with motifs of this universe can be obtained.
The full content release will be available in June in World of Warships: Legends (PC) and World of Warships: Legends.
